Tarabar Enterprises, Inc. was founded as a scissor sharpening, clipper blade sharpening and grooming supply company specializing in show sales in 1984 by Ralph C. Barger. His wife, Andrea Bradford, joined the company in 1987. Over the years we have remained
centered with the canine fancy, doing show circuits as scissor sharpeners,
clipper blade sharpeners, and vendors while offering a
mail order service as well. We are currently concentrating on our mail
order services and our online catalog, a constantly evolving project.
We are pleased to count many professional groomers and veterinarians as our clientele as well as an excellent dog show following in the southeast. As our longtime clients know, our business policy is simple: WE GUARANTEE OUR WORK AND OUR PRODUCTS. IF WE SHARPENED IT, IF WE FIXED IT, IF WE SOLD IT, WE GUARANTEE IT!!! Ralph has 48 years experience as a breeder/exhibitor, Professional Handler, Show Superintendent, and a canine based service and products vendor. He has been a sharpener for 26 years and follows a continuing educational process to hone his skills. Andrea has over 31 years experience breeding and showing top winning Beagles, English Foxhounds, Samoyeds and Italian Greyhounds. We are pleased to announce that she is currently licensed by AKC to judge Beagles, English Foxhounds, and Samoyeds. She has also received her provisional license for Borzoi, Saluki, Whippets and junior handling. She is our behind-the-scenes financial officer.
Our daughter-in-law, Marti Bradford, is our office manager. Due to his hearing loss she is Ralphs' ears handling all of our telephone work. She also manages our website, does most of our computer work, is the warehouse worker and all around gofer. She is new to the dog show business but is blending right in.
Ralph Barger is also factory certified by
Wolff Industries, Kenchii Cutting Edge Shears Co., Elite
Manufacturing, and Chris Christensen Systems for sharpening and
reconditioning of bevel edge shears and convex hollow ground shears. Using the
latest factory equipment we can recondition your scissor to as good (if not
better) than new condition. We are distributors for these products: Kenchii Cutting Edge Shears Andis Clippers and Blades Gator Chalk Millers Forge Grooming Tools Metro Dryers and Products Show Gear Shears

Mon – Friday: 8:00 am thru 4:00 PM except when we are gone to a show (please see our show schedule)
Our office is closed Saturday and Sunday and will reopen on
Monday morning at 8:00.
Marti is in the office to answer the phone from 8:30 until 2:00 Monday thru Thursday -- the phone will then be forwarded so you should be able to reach her during normal business hours on those days. On Fridays and after normal business hours during the week please leave a message and we will return your call by the next business day. All calls that come in over the weekend will be answered the next business day. Thank you.

2010 Show Schedule Cherokee Rose Cluster – Atlanta, GA February 04—7, 2010 (Full Booth) Cherokee Rose Cluster – Atlanta, GA — August 27-29, 2010 (Full Booth) At all the cluster shows we will be sharpening shears, convex and bevel, and will have the full Tarabar booth with us. We will have shears, dryers, clippers, and blades for sale. We will be accepting clipper blade sharpening and clipper and dryer repairs for mail back service. Mail back items are done the week following the show. Ralph will not be assisting at the Kenchii Booth during the Pet Fair that will be held on March 4th thru the 7th, 2010 this year. However, please make sure you drop by regardless and see what Sammy, Karen and Brittney are up to because they will have some great deals on their Kenchii Shears.
